CONDITIONS OF PLAY
- Event is open to golfers who are members of NSWVGA, aged 55 and over. The maximum handicap for men is 36 and 45 for women is Handicaps to be adjusted after each daily event.
- The Match Committee will control all competitions which will be run in accordance with the rules of golf and the local rules of the course and reserves the right to refuse any entry and to alter the conditions for any event.
- Golf ID and proof of NSWVGA membership must be produced on request.
- Players are to report to the starter 20 minutes prior to their hit‐off time. Late arrivals will lose their place in the field.
- Score cards to be returned within 15 minutes of completing a round. Any protest must be lodged in writing within 30 minutes after the completion of the round. In the event of a dispute; the match committee’s decision will be final.
- Any tie in any event will be decided by countback.
- Grade limits will be set after the close of entries.
- Winners of both men and ladies events may receive only one major trophy during the week, apart from ball competition and nearest the pin.
- Trophies and prizes for stableford Rounds will be presented following the competition on Friday. Prizes for 4BBB medley will be presented after the game. Players are responsible for collecting their trophies and minor prizes including golf balls.
- Parkes Veteran Golfers Association (PVGA) accepts no responsibility for the welfare of competitors on individual courses during the Week of Golf.
- Wet Weather Policy – Play will be held unless it is dangerous to do so or the course is Closed. Any refunds will be considered by the Match C’ttee should that arise
- Refunds: Refunds will be considered on an individual basis up to 14 days prior to the commencement of the first day’s play. An Admin fee may be applied
Registration of players Parkes Golf Club – 3:00 – 4:00pm Sunday 3rd May.
Cart hire is currently $40 / 18 holes. $10 for private cart / round.
Tee times will be 9:30am shotgun start except Friday – 8:30am start.
